MP: Clash Erupts During Ganesh immersion, Stones Thrown During Hanuman Chalisa Recitation
MP News: An incident of stone pelting came to light after Hanuman Chalisa recitation during Ganesh immersion in Biroda village of Burhanpur district. On Sunday night, two communities came face to face in this incident, in which 7 people were injured. As soon as the information was received, a heavy police force reached the spot and controlled the situation. 7 accused have been detained in this case.

In fact, all the Ganesh idols had been immersed in Biroda village of Lalbagh police station area, but due to lunar eclipse, one idol had to be immersed on Monday. During this, Hanuman Chalisa recitation was organized in front of the pandal. As soon as the recitation ended, stone pelting started, which created chaos in the village and both the communities came face to face. More than half a dozen people were injured in this incident, who were admitted to the district hospital.

Local BJP MLA Archana Chitnis reached Lalbagh police station and said that such an incident had happened in the village last year as well. She had demanded strict action against the culprits from the police administration. Chitnis stressed that the first principle of justice is strict action against the culprits. On the other hand, police force has been deployed in the area after the incident.

Stones Thrown During Hanuman Chalisa Recitation
District SP Ashutosh Bagri said that during Ganesh immersion, as soon as the Hanuman Chalisa recitation ended, some anti-social elements of the Muslim community pelted stones, which created chaos and both the communities came face to face. The injured have been sent to the district hospital.
