MS University of Vadodara in Controversy Again

Recently, a video of a student from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Vadodara went viral on social media. The girl is said to be from the Botany department of Science faculty and was seen offering Namaz in the viral video. However, this was not the first time that MS University has hived in Namaz’s Controversy. Before also, few incidents have been reported regarding the same.

In the entire video matter, MS University PRO Lakulish Trivedi said in a statement that a committee had been formed to deal with such cases in the past. The committee and student will be questioned about the video of Namaz, if necessary, and will be investigated by the High-Power Committee.


However, the committee was set up and action has also been taken. After the controversy, the science faculty has taken a strict decision to ensure that such incidents do not happen again. A notification has been issued banning religious activities in Science Faculty. The Faculty of Science has taken precautionary measures to prevent such incidents from happening. 
“Faculty of Science, MS University is a premier institute of higher education. Therefore observing any kind of religious activity within the premises is not desirable. Hence all the students and faculty are hereby informed that no religious activities are permitted on the premises. Violation of this directive shall invite appropriate disciplinary actions” the notice issued by the dean of Faculty of Science read.
