Mumbai Man Arrested for Sharing Girl's Private Images Online
According to an official, the Gamdevi police in south Mumbai apprehended a suspect on Sunday for allegedly publishing a minor girl's intimate images on a false social media account.
According to the police, the complainant came forward on July 22 to file a complaint against the accused.

The victim, who is a juvenile, met the accused on Instagram, according to the FIR. The name was suggested on Instagram as "Rocky." They communicated online and formed a close connection.
Under the guise of having a chat with her, the accused reportedly shot her images without her knowledge. According to an official, he then allegedly shared some of her images and audio tapes on his bogus Instagram account.
Disgusted, the girl went to the police station and filed a report. The cops were then called in.
The authorities traced the accused's IP address and discovered that "Rocky" was his alias.
"We realized that 'Rocky' was his alias, but with a lot of effort, we were able to track down the accused's IP address." We also have his phone number. "We apprehended him from Ahmedabad using technology and information from reliable sources," stated a police officer.
The accused subsequently admitted to solely managing the bogus Instagram account.
"The accused was arrested on August 5," according to the police. He has also admitted to having done the same thing with other girls. We discovered images of another woman on his phone. We took his phone and sent it for forensic examination."
The culprit has been identified as Hariom Gautam (21), and he has been charged under Section 354 (outrage of modesty) and the related POCSO Act clauses."
