The controversy surrounding MyFledge Private Limited also know as Fledge Institute of Aviation and Hospitality continues to deepen, with a fresh wave of student complaints now surfacing, alleging unfulfilled promises, misleading commitments, and lack of placement support even as multiple legal cases against the company remain ongoing.

Several aspiring students have now come forward, sharing their experiences of what they describe as a pattern of assurances made at the time of admission that were never honoured.

One such student, Miss Rajput, claims that the institute made multiple commitments during the admission process, including training quality and placement opportunities, none of which materialised. “What was promised to us at the time of taking admission was never fulfilled,” the student stated.

Another student, Mr Mishra, has alleged a more concerning experience. According to him, he was informed by Bishwajit Badal Ghosh and Piyalee Shyamlendu Chatterjee that she would be assisted with interview opportunities once her pending payment was cleared. She claims that after clearing her dues, she was subsequently ignored. “They told me to complete the payment and assured me of placement support. Once I paid, they stopped responding and never helped with any opportunities,” she said, naming individuals associated with the company.

These testimonies add to a growing list of grievances from students who allege they were misled with promises of guaranteed placements, structured training, and credible industry exposure, only to be left without certifications or job outcomes despite paying significant fees.

The student complaints come at a time when the company’s legal troubles are intensifying. In a case filed in 2025 involving multiple criminal complaints, the accused directors of MyFledge have yet to appear before the court. The Mumbai court has now issued a final opportunity for them to appear on April 29, 2026, in connection with 32 cheque bounce cases amounting to ₹4,44,48,000.

The matter is also linked to a broader criminal case filed by actor Aayush Shah and his sister Mausam Shah, who have accused the company’s directors Bishwajit Badal Chandra Ghosh, Piyalee Shyamlendu Chatterjee and others associated to the company naming Bijoya Subrat Kumar Das, and Badal Chandra Ghosh of cheating, forgery, and criminal breach of trust. The case is currently being heard in the Andheri court.

According to the complaint, the allegations include financial fraud involving forged bank statements and fabricated documents used to secure loans and investments. Multiple cheques issued in the matter reportedly bounced, further escalating the dispute.

The case is also being viewed in the context of wider financial irregularities linked to the LUCC scam, with multiple FIRs registered across states against individuals associated with the company.

With the accused yet to appear and students continuing to come forward with complaints, the upcoming court hearing on April 29 is expected to be a crucial development in what is now being seen as an expanding controversy, one that goes beyond financial allegations and raises serious concerns about the experiences of students who placed their trust in the institution.
