"Nanhe Parindey" gives children wings to fly, Noida police Commissionerate joint imitative with HCL
Nanhe Parindey: A special event was organized for the children on the eve of Independence Day by the Gautam Buddha Nagar Police Commissionerate. 200 children who got admission in formal education from alternative education under the "Nanhe Parindey" program were honored in the auditorium of the Police Commissioner's Office located in Sector-108. The program was presided over by Police Commissioner Smt. Laxmi Singh.—Special initiative to encourage childrenDuring the program, all the children were presented with prizes, school kits, study material and gifts.

Noida Greater Noida Police Commissioner interacted with the children and encouraged them by giving them school bags, lunch boxes and pencil boxes. He said, “The Nanhe Parindey project is proof that when the police, institutions and the community work together, a strong wave of change is created.”
Step towards a better future for the society
Meanwhile the Police Commissioner said that the aim of the “Nanhe Parindey” initiative is to connect the underprivileged children of Noida and Greater Noida with right to education, such that instead of going astray on the wrong path, they can realize their dreams and contribute to nation building.
This is a joint initiative of Gautam Budh Nagar Police, HCL Foundation and Chetna NGO.
Life is changing since the year 2021
Under this project started in the year 2021, more than 3,200 children have benefited so far. Out of these, 1,173 children have been enrolled in formal schools, while 906 life skills and leadership development sessions have been organized. These efforts have given new direction and inspiration to thousands of children.
Not just respect, but a message of hope
Dr. Nidhi Pundir Director of HCL Foundation and Sanjay Gupta, Director of Chetna NGO were also present in the program. Appreciating the hard work and dedication of the children, he said that “Nanhe Parindey” is working to connect the children deprived of education with the formal education system by providing them a safe environment, alternative education and life skills.
Honor for excellence in sports
On this occasion, HCL VC Associates Rajat Chandausia honored lady constable Deepika by presenting her a bicycle. Deepika has won medals twice at regional and 3 times at inter-district level in 15 km and 80 km cycling events. Many senior officials including Additional Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Dr. Rajiv Narayan Mishra, DCP Women Safety Preeti Yadav, ADCP Women Safety Manisha Singh, ACP-1 Noida Praveen Kumar Singh and other senior officer were also present in the program.

Nanhe Parindey " to bring the small children deprived of education into the mainstream and to develop their skills. The Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh said, "Education is the only means that can bring positive change in life. We want these little birds not only to fly but also to make their dreams come true." He inspired the children to keep learning and not give up in the face of difficulties. Representatives of Chetna Sanstha and HCL Foundation said that under the 'Nanhe Parindey' program, free education, basic life skills and vocational training are provided to children from slums and backward areas so that they can become self-reliant in the future.
