Vice President Election 2025: NDA candidate CP Radhakrishnan has won a big victory in India's Vice President election. He defeated his rival and INDIA alliance's B Sudarshan Reddy by getting a total of 452 votes. Sudarshan Reddy got 300 votes. NDA has achieved a majority by almost two-quarters

The election for the post of Vice President was held on Tuesday. NDA candidate C.P. Radhakrishnan has won the election, he got 452 votes. Opposition candidate B. Sudarshan Reddy got 300 votes. Rajya Sabha Secretary General PC Modi announced the results. More than 760 MPs including PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Congress Parliamentary Party chief Sonia Gandhi, party president Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi took part in the voting process.
