Nepal's Home Minister Resigns:  After the Gen-G protests in Nepal, the KP Sharma Oli government has come under threat. After the casualties in the protests, Nepal's Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has resigned. After the protests, Nepal Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba held a meeting at his residence. In which the resignation of the Home Minister was demanded. Lekhak has submitted his resignation in the cabinet meeting called by PM Oli at 6 pm.

After the casualties in the protests, Nepal's Home Minister resigns

Apart from this, many activists have also demanded the resignation of Ramesh Lekhak against the action on the protesters. In the meeting, Congress leaders considered two things. In which the emphasis was on taking support from the Oli government and the resignation of Lekhak. There is an alliance between Congress and Oli's Communist Party in Nepal.

Protest over social media ban

Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has urged Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to immediately lift the ban on social media. After the meeting of Congress officials, President Deuba has also urged Prime Minister Oli to immediately cancel the directive banning the use of social media.

20 killed in protests

The protests that started on Monday against the ban on social media turned aggressive when the protesters tried to enter the Parliament. During this, the police fired bullets and tear gas shells at the protesters. In which more than 200  Gen-z protesters have been injured and about 20 people lost there life.
