No evidence of forceful entry into storeroom, big revelation in report of Judge Cash Case

Justice Verma cash case: A huge amount of cash has been found from the house of Delhi High Court judge Justice Yashwant Verma. Delhi High Court Chief Justice Devendra Upadhyay has released an investigation report regarding this. At the same time, Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora has shown burnt notes in a video shared with Chief Justice of India Sanjiv Khanna and Chief Justice of Delhi High Court regarding the matter.

The judge says that all this money is not his. It has been kept in his storeroom by someone else, although no evidence has been found of anyone forcefully entering the storeroom of the Justice.

Burnt cash found in storeroom

According to the report, on March 15, 2025, workers removed some burnt items and debris from the storeroom. After this, the Supreme Court ordered Justice Verma to maintain the entire data and communication of the phone. Apart from this, the court sought records from the security personnel deployed at his house in the last 6 months.

Justice Verma has been temporarily removed from his judicial responsibilities till the investigation continues.

No one entered the storeroom

The investigation report revealed that Justice Verma's house caught fire on March 14, 2025. This was first reported by the Justice's personal secretary through a PCR call. During this, the fire brigade employees found a lot of burnt cash at the spot, which raised suspicion.

No evidence has been found of anyone forcibly entering the Justice's storeroom. The storeroom was used for household items and domestic staff, gardener and CPWD employees had access to it.

Justice's allegation

Justice Verma has denied any wrongdoing. He says that a conspiracy is being hatched against him to tarnish his image. At the same time, he and his family members have nothing to do with this money. Justice Verma questioned the evidence and said that when he went to the storeroom after the fire, there was no cash there. Later I saw this video of cash.
