Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh was honored with the "Amity Excellence Award" for her outstanding contribution to public safety and good governance.
On the second day of the 26th International Business Summit "Inbush World Summit 2026" held at Amity University, a special session on women's leadership and well-being was held. Present at the session were Noida Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh, senior Supreme Court advocate Dr. Pinky Anand, and senior Boeing 787 commander Archana Kapoor.

Women need to become self-reliant. Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh said that it's true that women are the majority of account holders, not only in national but also local banks. The financial revolution of the last ten years has empowered them.
Uttar Pradesh is the only state with Bank Sakhis, which work to provide door-to-door banking services in rural areas and empower women with self-reliance. Education programs are being implemented on a large scale, along with the financial literacy revolution.
Singh said that if we only talk about equality, we will go astray. If we only look at what our peers are doing, personal development will be stunted. You won't have time to see your potential. You will become preoccupied with fitting into society's established modules, and your flight will be stunted.

The country won't progress simply by growing wheat and rice. Rather, it will progress by recognizing women's contributions. Senior Supreme Court advocate Dr. Pinky Anand said that two things are most important for women. First, availability or access to what is possible. Second, you should have space or time.
