Noida: Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh inaugurated third solution center of  FDRC

Noida: Police Commissioner Gautam Budh Nagar Smt. Laxmi Singh inaugurated this center by establishing the third solution center FDRC (Family Dispute Resolution Clinic) for counseling and mediation for cases related to marital and family stress and disputes at Cherry County Chowki under Thana Bisrakh area. This FDRC has been prepared in collaboration with Galgotias University, in which teams of experts from legal, psychology, behavioral science will be available.

Meanwhile this center will provide help in resolving family disputes and stress related cases and developing family relationships and keeping them stable. During the program, MOU related to setting up and running FDRC was signed by ACP Women Safety and Registrar Galgotias University.

FDRC (Family Dispute Resolution Clinic)

The aim of FDRC is to maintain peace and stability in the society by resolving mutual disputes in families. It is an effective model to prevent families from breaking up through counseling. The team of experts and policemen working in FDRC listen to both the parties and present solutions to resolve mutual disputes in families through mediation and counseling and provide guidance by understanding mental, emotional and behavioral problems through professional counselors.

At the same time, awareness programs on marital and family problems are also organized from time to time. They help in resolving cases related to domestic violence, dowry or other social issues. They have established an effective police public partnership model of dispute resolution through mediation and counseling in family disputes.

It is noteworthy that in Commissionerate Gautam Buddh Nagar, 02 FDRC (Family Dispute Resolution Clinic) are already being run in Thana Knowledge Park with the support of Sharda University and in Sector-108 with the support of Amity University for mediation and counseling in cases related to marital disputes, whose meaningful efforts have reunited thousands of broken families.

FDRC not only simplifies the legal process, but also makes the society more empowered by providing emotional and social support. It is helpful in creating a positive environment for the new generation by providing stability to families.

In the program Additional Commissioner of Police Law and Order Mr. Rajiv Narayan Mishra, Deputy Commissioner of Police Central Noida Mr. Shakti Mohan Awasthi, DCP Women Safety Mrs. Preeti Yadav, ADCP Central Noida Mrs. Shaivya Goyal and other officials along with Chancellor of Galgotia University Mr. Sunil Galgotia, Director Operations Ms. Aradhana Galgotia and other dignitaries were  also present.
