Family Dispute Resolution Clinic: The FRDC, which was started by Noida Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh about one and a half years ago in January 2024, whose job is to settle domestic disputes by mutual consent without any FIR, through this clinic, Noida Police ends domestic violence and gets reconciliation done, through FDRC every month hundreds of families sit with a panel and end their household disputes within some time. Talking about the entire process of FDRC, it helps in reducing the burden of the court and the police by resolving all these issues at its level before legal proceedings in any case, as well as contributes to the welfare and quality of life of the couples and families involved.
FDRC was established in January 2024 under the inspiration and guidance of the Police Commissioner Madam. Currently, two FDRCs are being operated by Noida Police in collaboration with Amity University and Sharda University.
The main objective of FDRC is to provide mediation to women and their families suffering from domestic violence and dowry harassment,
So that mutual agreement can be reached between both the parties and family disintegration can be avoided.
FDRC mediation is a voluntary process before court proceedings, where the parties work together to resolve their disputes by mutual consent.
In this case, either the woman or the man, i.e. both the parties can give an application. During mediation, mediation is provided in several sessions in each dispute and during counselling, every important point is noted and written in the file.
