Noida To Delhi Airport In Just 20 Minutes: The Prime Minister Narendra Modi today on 17 August has given the gift of two major road projects to Haryana. With the start of these projects, there is going to be relief for the people of Delhi and NCR. The new expressways launched include the country's first 8-lane urban elevated Dwarka Expressway and Urban Extension Road-2 (UER-2) from Gurugram to the airport. After the start of these road projects, people are going to get a lot of relief from traffic jams.

PM Inaugurated Dwarka Expressway and UER-II

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated two major national highways at Rohini on Sunday at a cost of about ₹ 11,000 crore. The purpose of building this project was to give relief to the people of Delhi NCR and Gurugram from traffic jams. With the start of these projects, the work of freight transportation is going to become easier.

You will reach Gurugram from Delhi in 20 minutes

Urban Elevated Dwarka Expressway is the country's first 8-lane expressway, which has been built from Gurugram to Delhi Airport. After the start of this expressway, it will become easier for the people of Delhi and Noida to reach Gurugram. Earlier it used to take them more than an hour. Many times they had to face long traffic jams. However, after the start of this expressway, the time taken in this journey will be reduced considerably. The country's widest tunnel of 3.6 km has been built on the Dwarka Expressway.

Where will the Dwarka Expressway start from?

Benefit of this project is going to be for the people of Gurugram. Apart from this, residents of Dwarka, Vasant Kunj and surrounding areas will also benefit. Travel time will be reduced for passengers traveling from cities like Faridabad Manesar, Sonipat, Panipat and Chandigarh to Gurugram. After its opening, 50 percent of the traffic on the road from Dhaula Kuan to Gurugram will be reduced.

While the length of this Elevated Dwarka Expressway is 29 km.

Travelling to IGI Airport will be easy

UER-2 will start from Delhi-Chandigarh Highway in Alipur, Delhi, then passing through Mundka, Bakkarwala, Najafgarh, Dwarka, it ends on Delhi-Gurugram Expressway near Mahipalpur. It has been designed as the third ring road of Delhi and its estimated cost is ₹6,445 crores.

UER-II will start from near Akshardham Temple and connect to the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway, which will also make it easier for those going to Dehradun from Haryana and Rajasthan. With its opening, the time taken by those traveling from Noida to IGI Airport will be reduced. Apart from this, there will be less congestion on Delhi's Ring Road, NH-48, NH-44 and Barapullah Elevated Corridor.

Fear of getting stuck in traffic jam will end

The Delhi section of Dwarka Expressway will not only increase convenience for local passengers, but will also integrate rail, metro and bus services through multi-modal connectivity. At the same time, UER-II will play a great role in reducing traffic in the congested areas of Delhi. After its opening, people can not only catch flights and trains on time. But the fear of going by own vehicle and getting stuck in traffic jam will also end.

Urban Extension Road-2 will also open to the public from today

Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate Urban Extension Road-2 (UER-2) along with Dwarka Expressway today. This is a 75.81 km long road. Many elevated sections have been built in this 6 lane road, which will help in reducing the traffic of Delhi, Gurugram, Sonipat and surrounding areas to a great extent. After its opening, the traffic on Mundka, Bakkarwala, Najafgarh, Dhaula Kuan and Mubarak Chowk will be less.
