Air India Wi-Fi: Air India has announced to provide free Wi-Fi facility to passengers in some of its selected flights. Passengers will be able to use Wi-Fi in multiple devices simultaneously. This means that you will be able to connect internet in laptops and smartphones during air travel. This facility of Air India will be available for all devices

Air India will provide free Wi-Fi facility to passengers

Now passengers traveling in domestic flights will also be able to use the facility of internet in the sky. Tata Group's Air India has announced to provide them free Wi-Fi in flight. The airline will currently provide Wi-Fi facility in Airbus A350, Boeing 789-0 and selected other Airbus aircraft. Passengers will get internet connection at an altitude of 10,000 feet.

How many devices will be able to use the internet?

Air India will allow using Wi-Fi on multiple devices simultaneously. This means that you will be able to connect internet to laptops and smartphones during air travel. However, facility of free internet will be available for all devices like laptops, tablets and smartphones with iOS or Android system.

Passengers traveling on domestic flights will get this facility

Air India is already providing free Wi-Fi service on its international routes like New York, London, Paris and Singapore. However, Air India passengers traveling on domestic flights will get this facility for the first time. Air India has started this as a pilot project on domestic routes. This airline of Tata Group is gradually planning to provide this facility in other aircraft of its fleet as well.
