Oath taking ceremony of MP CM Mohan Yadav will be historic
The state of Madhya Pradesh is getting ready for the oath-taking ceremony of Mohan Yadav. VD Sharma, who is the state president of Bhartiya Janta Party said that the swearing-in ceremony of Mohan Yadav which is scheduled to take place on Wednesday.
The ceremony will take place in Motilal Nehru Stadium, Lal Parade Ground, Bhopal, and will be graced by PM Modi along with Union Minister Amit Shah, and BJP President JP Nadda among others.
VD Sharma "Our newly designated Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav and his cabinet will take the oath in the ceremony held at Motilal Nehru Stadium on Wednesday. It will be organized in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Amit Shah, and National Party President JP Nadda and will be historic."
The state president also praised the central leadership of the party crediting them of their abled leadership and guidance which helped the party to emerge victorious in the elections.
He said "The Bharatiya Janata Party got a historic majority under the leadership of PM Modi, strategy of Union Minister Shah and the guidance of Nadda in the recent state assembly elections. Mohan Yadav will take oath as the new CM of the state here on Wednesday. PM Modi, Shah, Nadda along with other party officials, Union Ministers, and Chief Ministers of other states will be present in the ceremony. Apart from this, a large number of party workers will also be present in the program. I welcome everyone attending the program."
In 2013, Yadav secured his inaugural term as an MLA from the Ujjain Dakshin assembly seat, marking the initiation of his political career. The momentum continued in the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections, where he was once again elected as the MLA from the Ujjain Dakshin constituency. A significant milestone in his political journey occurred on July 2, 2020, when he assumed the role of a cabinet minister in the Madhya Pradesh government led by Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
The electoral landscape of Madhya Pradesh witnessed a pivotal moment on November 17, when 230 assembly seats went to poll in a single phase. The subsequent counting of votes, concluded on December 3, revealed a resounding mandate for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Overcoming nearly two decades of incumbency in the state, the BJP secured 163 seats, significantly surpassing the Congress, which finished in a distant second with 66 seats.
