'Over 1000 flights cancelled today', Indigo CEO promises restoration by Dec 15

The central government has given partial relief to airlines, especially Indigo, from the new Flight Duty Time Limitation (FDTL) rules. The government has immediately withdrawn its order which mandated a continuous 48-hour weekly rest for pilots and other crew members every week.

Indigo is continuously struggling with a shortage of crew members

He said that those whose flights have been cancelled should please not come to the airport. The maximum number of flights have been cancelled today because the entire Indigo system is being rebooted. The situation in Indigo's operations will be fully restored between December 10th and 15th. We regret the inconvenience caused.
