Pahalgam attack culprits were preparing for big attack in Amarnath, 'Mahadev' became Kaal

The culprits of the Pahalgam attack killed in Operation Mahadev in Kashmir were hatching a big conspiracy. They were preparing for another attack. This time Amarnath Yatra was their target. This has come to light from intelligence agency sources.

According to the news received by a news agency and NDTV, about the culprits of the Pahalgam attack, the module of the killed terrorists was preparing to attack the Amarnath Yatra. Security agencies had received input about this. Before technical surveillance, input was received that the terrorists were in the forests of Ganderbal.

After this, the search operation was started from July 5. Army, CRPF and BSF jointly started the operation in Ganderbal. The search for terrorists continued in the forests. During this time they kept changing their hideouts.

Terrorists was preparing to attack the Amarnath Yatra

Security forces also kept tracking them continuously. Finally, the security forces got a big success after 24 days. Through technical surveillance and human intelligence, information was received about their activity in the Mahadev mountains near Mulnar village late on Sunday night.

The terrorists were located in the mountains around 10 am on Monday. Operation Mahadev proved fatal for these terrorists. All three were killed. The large amount of weapons and ammunition found with them also indicates that they were planning to carry out a major terrorist incident.

Musa had taken commando training in the Pakistani Army

According to security inputs, Hashim Musa had taken training as a para commando in the Special Service Group  of the Pakistani Army. After that, he joined Lashkar-e-Taiba and started carrying out terrorist activities. It is said that he entered India in September 2023 and again started his terrorist operations in South Kashmir.

Accused of killing 7 civilians in Ganderbal

On 22 April 2025, 26 people were killed in a bloody attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Security agencies had identified Hashim Musa as the main accused in this case. According to the agencies, he has been involved in at least six terrorist incidents. Musa was a highly trained terrorist, who was adept at living in forests and surviving difficult situations.
