Parliament Monsoon Session: Discussion on Operation Sindoor started in Lok Sabha on Monday which will continue today as well. Amit Shah will address Lok Sabha between 12 noon to 1 pm. Meanwhile during the discussion, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said that only three countries opposed Operation Sindoor.

Amit Shah will address Lok Sabha today

Discussion on Operation Sindoor started after 2 pm on Monday. Discussion on this will continue today as well. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will address Lok Sabha after 12 noon today. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav will present his point in Lok Sabha on Operation Sindoor at 3 pm.

Earlier during the discussion on Monday, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said that after the Pahalgam attack, we gave a strong message. We had to give a strong reply to Pakistan. On May 10, we came to know that Pakistan is ready for ceasefire, so we said that this request will be made by Pakistan. No call came from America regarding this. There was no conversation between PM Modi and President Trump between 22 April and 17 June.

Only three countries opposed Operation Sindoor: S Jaishankar

The Foreign Minister said that on 23 April, we stopped the Indus Water Treaty in the meeting. Attari check post was closed. Pakistani citizens were sent back. Pakistan's defense representative was sent back from the Pakistani embassy. After the Pahalgam attack, we told the global community about Pakistan's terrorism.

Summary

The United Nations Security Council condemned the Pahalgam terrorist attack. The council had said that those who carried out the terrorist incident should be given appropriate punishment. Even though out of the193 countries in the United Nations, only three nation opposed Operation Sindoor.
