Parliament Winter Session: The Winter Session of Parliament begins today. This session will run until December 19th, with both houses of Parliament meeting for 15 sessions each. Opposition parties are demanding a discussion on SIR, internal security, and the labor code. On the other hand, the government wants a discussion on Vande Mataram. The Winter Session is expected to be stormy.

In his social media post, the Speaker stated that Parliament is the highest forum for expressing the nation's expectations, public aspirations, democratic values, and the collective responsibility of public representatives. Each session of Parliament also inspires us with devotion to duty, restraint, and public welfare, which deepens the spirit of public representation. It is hoped that all honorable members will strengthen the healthy traditions of democracy and, through their active participation, contribute meaningfully to making this session productive.

"If SIR is not discussed, we will not allow the House to function," Ram Gopal
SP Rajya Sabha MP Professor Ram Gopal Yadav, before the start of the winter session of Parliament, clearly stated that the most important issue is SIR. If SIR is not discussed, we will not allow the House to function. SP MP from Ayodhya, Awadhesh Prasad, has said that the right to vote given by Baba Saheb should be respected. Congress Deputy Leader in the Rajya Sabha, Pramod Tiwari, has also said that SIR should be discussed. He categorically stated that the ruling party also has the responsibility to run the House.
