The meeting of Indian parliamentary leaders is taking place in the LoP chamber of Parliament on Monday, December 4th, at 10 am.

The agenda for the winter session of Parliament, which starts on Monday, December 4, was discussed by party leaders in Parliament on Saturday.

Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Pralhad Joshi has called the meeting, which is being attended by Rajnath Singh, Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal, Congress leaders Jairam Ramesh, Gaurav Gogoi, and Pramod Tiwari, as well as Trinamool leader Sudip Bandyopadhyay, NCP leader Fouzia Khan, and RSP leader N K Premachandran.

Under the direction of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, the Government convened with Floor Leaders from every Political Party prior to the commencement of the Winter Session of Parliament in 2023.

Winter session of parliament will begin on December 4th and will end on December 22nd

The Winter Session of Parliament will start on Monday, December 4, 2023, and end on Friday, December 22, 2023, contingent on the needs of government business, according to Pralhad Joshi, Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs. There will be 15 sittings over the course of the 19-day session. Additionally, it is tentatively planned for this session to include consideration of 19 legislative items and 2 financial items.

The Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs went on to say that the government is always willing to debate any topic on the House floor as long as the relevant Presiding Officers' Rules of Procedure permit it.

To ensure the smooth operation of the two Houses of Parliament, he also asked the leaders of all political parties to actively cooperate and support.

Arjun Ram Meghwal, the minister of state for both the ministry of culture and the Ministry of Legislative Affairs, as well as the minister of state (independent charge) of the Law and justice, attended the meeting.
