Pathik Shukla, a native of Bharuch, has been appointed as a Grant Review Team Member at the Ontario Trillium Foundation. Mr. Pathik Shukla—a social worker and community activist currently residing in the Canadian province of Ontario, and originally hailing from the Bharuch district—has been appointed by the Ontario Government's Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Sport to serve as a Grant Review Team Member at the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
This appointment serves as a recognition of his long-standing and dedicated work in social service, bringing a sense of pride to the entire Bharuch and Gujarati community. Mr. Pathik Shukla is the son of a renowned couple of social workers: Advocate Angiras Shukla and Mrs. Dharmishtha Shukla. His parents have been actively involved in organizations such as the Jaycees and the Rotary Club for the past three to four decades, making significant contributions to social service.
Pathikbhai settled in Canada approximately 15 years ago and has remained consistently active in social service there as well. Mr. Pathik Shukla is recognized as a dedicated worker in the fields of social service, community engagement, and health safety. An MBA holder, Pathikbhai has worked extensively with prestigious organizations such as Junior Chamber International and the Rotary Club, having also served as the President of the Rotary Club. He is currently employed as a Hygiene Expert and Food Safety Inspector. He served as a member of the Brampton School Traffic Safety Council from 2018 to 2022, and since 2023, he has been appointed by the Mayor and City Council of Brampton as the Chairperson of the Brampton Appeal Tribunal.
Pathik Shukla has been serving as the Secretary of "Humans for Harmony" since 2019. This organization works for the welfare of international students and the community at large, and its President is Mr. Don Patel. Additionally, Pathikbhai is an active volunteer with the "Indian Family Association (IFA)." In 2025, the Government of Ontario appointed him as a Public Director on the Council of the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
In recognition of his outstanding and dedicated work—particularly for his services during the COVID-19 pandemic—the City of Brampton honored him in 2021 with "Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee Award and Pin," as well as the "Inspirational Award." The Ontario Trillium Foundation is a vital agency of the Government of Ontario that provides grants for community development. Since 1982, the organization has invested billions of dollars in the holistic development of communities. Through approximately $120 million in grants annually, the organization supports projects that promote active lifestyles, inclusive societies, environmental conservation, the development of arts and culture, and the positive development of children and youth.
