Pilgrims bus going to visit Mata Vaishno Devi fell into 20 feet deep drain, 1 dead, 40 injured

Mata Vaishno Devi: A painful bus accident has happened in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir in the early hours of Thursday. So far, one devotee has been reported dead in this incident. At the same time, about 40 passengers have been injured. Passengers from Uttar Pradesh were travelling in the bus. All the passengers are residents of Amroha district of UP, who were going to Katra to visit Mata Vaishno Devi.

This horrific accident took place in Jatwal village of Samba district. The injured have been admitted to the hospital.

One person died and 40 others were injured when a bus full of pilgrims crashed on the Jammu-Pathankot highway in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.

8 passengers in critical condition

After the accident, local people and passersby immediately came forward to help and started rescue work. All the injured were taken to District Hospital Samba, where they were given first aid. Out of these, the condition of 8 passengers is said to be critical, who have been referred to AIIMS Vijaypur for better medical facilities.

It is being told that the bus was coming from Uttar Pradesh to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji Katra. There were 65 to 70 passengers in the bus.

Children and women are also injured in this accident

As soon as the information about the incident was received, police and administrative officials reached the spot, who started relief and rescue work. A passenger told that he had come from Amroha and was going to Katra for the pilgrimage of Mata Vaishno Devi. Children and women were also in the bus. The accident happened on the way, in which almost all the people have been injured. One devotee has died in the accident.

Meanwhile the injured passengers have been admitted Hospital to AIIMS Vijaypur for treatment. This major road accident took place on Jammu Pathankot National Highway Jatwal in Samba.

One person claimed that this accident happened due to the fault of the driver. We were all sleeping. Suddenly the car fell 30 feet down from a bridge. Another passenger told that he had left his house on August 18. Initially, he visited Chamunda Devi Temple and Jwalaji Temple. After this, all the people on the bus were going to visit Mata Vaishno Devi.
