Plane Crash-Lands On Moving Car: A major accident occurred in the state of Florida, USA, on Monday evening when a small plane made an emergency landing on the busy I-95 highway near Merritt Island and collided with a car. The pilot was forced to land on the highway due to a technical malfunction in the aircraft, but while landing amidst traffic, the plane struck a 2023 model Toyota car.

Plane crashes into car during emergency landing on highway
The aircraft was a Beechcraft 55 model, carrying a 27-year-old pilot and his companion of the same age. Neither sustained any injuries. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), both engines of the aircraft suddenly lost power, after which the pilot immediately decided to make an emergency landing.

The 57-year-old woman driving the Toyota Camry sustained minor injuries and was admitted to a nearby hospital. The accident occurred at 5:45 PM on Monday, when there was heavy traffic on the highway. After the collision, the plane came to a stop on the highway, creating a chaotic situation in the entire area.
Highway closed after the accident
Following the accident, the southbound lanes of I-95 near the 201-mile marker had to be completely closed. Rescue teams arrived at the scene and began their investigation. The highway remained closed for several hours and was reopened around 9 a.m.

Second plane crash in Florida on the same day
Interestingly, a second plane crash also occurred in Florida on the same day. A Cessna 172 aircraft made an emergency landing in the DeLand area, 46 miles from Orlando. Two people on board the plane were injured, but both are reported to be in stable condition.
