Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated on Friday that he will perform an 11-day anushthan (rituals) before  the 'Pran Pratishtha' event at Ayodhya's Ram temple on January 22.

There are only 11 days until Ram Lalla's 'pran pratishtha' in Ayodhya. I am privileged to be present for this auspicious event. During the event, God has asked me to represent the people of India. Keeping this in mind, I'm starting an 11-day unique routine today. The prime minister added in a video message on social media site X, "I seek blessings from all of you."

The Vedic rituals will begin a week before the major event on January 16. On January 22, Varanasi priest Lakshmi Kant Dixit will perform the primary 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony.

There will also be a 1008 Hundi Mahayagya, with thousands of devotees fed. Tent cities are being created in Ayodhya to host the thousands of devotees.

The Sri Ram Janambhoomi Trust says that accommodations will be made for 10,000-15,000 persons.

Local government is also preparing for the expected rise in visitors surrounding the grand event and is establishing strengthened security measures and making logistical arrangements to provide a pleasant and spiritually enriching experience for all guests.

On January 22, the prime minister will preside over the consecration ceremony of the big Ram temple in Ayodhya. The event's preparations are nearing completion, as various VVIP guests from India and overseas have been invited to attend.
