PM Modi Japan Visit: The PM Modi has arrived on his two-day visit to Japan. He was given a grand welcome as soon as he reached Tokyo airport. PM Modi was honored by reciting Gayatri Mantra and giving a wonderful traditional dance performance. He also met the Indian expatriate community after this. Before leaving for Japan, the Prime Minister said that the main objective of the Japan visit is to give new dimensions to the India-Japan special strategic and global partnership.

Will explore new avenues of cooperation-PM Modi
He said that the relations between the two countries have strengthened in the last eleven years and now the focus will be on economic, investment and new technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and semiconductor cooperation. Modi also said that this visit will become an opportunity to further strengthen the civilizational and cultural ties between India and Japan.
Here he will participate in the 15th India-Japan Annual Summit.
Discussion will be held on strengthening investment relations
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday praised the commitment of the Indian community in Japan to preserve cultural roots and make meaningful contributions to Japanese society.
On his social media platform X, he wrote that he is overwhelmed by the affection and warmth of the Indian community in Tokyo. Their commitment to preserve our cultural roots while making meaningful contributions to Japanese society is truly commendable.
Prime Minister Modi said that, I will interact with a group of business leaders, focusing on further strengthening India-Japan trade and investment relations.

Let us tell you that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to Japan. Here PM Modi will participate in the 15th India-Japan Annual Summit. On the arrival of the PM in Japan, he was welcomed by Japan's Ambassador to India Ono Keiichi, India's Ambassador to Japan Sibi George and other senior officials.
Will meet Japanese PM
Let us tell you that during his visit of 29-30 August, Prime Minister Modi will hold his first formal bilateral talks with Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba. It is believed that both the leaders expect India-Japan special strategic and global partnership. This includes defense security, trade and investment etc.
This is the 8th Japan visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as PM.
The Prime Minister further said that after the Japan visit, he will go to China. There, on the invitation of President Xi Jinping, he will participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit to be held in Tianjin. He said that India is an active and constructive member of the SCO.

Prime Minister Modi also said that he will hold bilateral meetings with President Xi Jinping, President Vladimir Putin and other leaders on the sidelines of the SCO summit. The Prime Minister is confident that his visits to Japan and China will advance India's national interests as well as strengthen regional and global peace, security and sustainable development.
PM met people of Indian community, enquired about their well-being with love and warmth
Prime Minister met people of Indian community after reaching Tokyo. He interacted with Indians living in Japan with great warmth and was seen enquiring about their well-being with children in his own way. After this, he shared some pictures on his X account and wrote – 'The love and affection of people of Indian community in Tokyo touched my heart'
