PM Modi Lakshadweep Visit: PM Modi appreciated on the recently installed ice plant at Agatti
On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that many of the Lakshadweep Islands' development projects had been finished during the previous ten years of his administration.
Speaking at an event upon his visit, he was upbeat about the recently installed ice plant at Agatti, highlighting how it will open up new opportunities for improved fish processing on the island.
He also brought up the prosperous tuna fish export, which is anticipated to help the locals access more sources of revenue.

The export of tuna fish has created new opportunities for the region's economy to grow. The Hon'ble Prime Minister went to Bangaram Island after the public function at Agatti. On January 3, 2024, the Prime Minister will be present at a public event in Kavaratti Island, where he will launch and lay the groundwork for several projects valued at approximately Rs. 1200 crore.
