PM Modi Meets World Champions:  Prime Minister Narendra Modi met the Women's World Cup-winning Indian team at his residence, Lok Kalyan Marg, today. The Prime Minister congratulated the players on their historic victory and praised the team's remarkable comeback after three consecutive defeats in the tournament. PM Modi said that the team has earned a place not only on the field but also in the hearts of the entire nation.

Captain Harmanpreet Kaur recalled that she met the Prime Minister in 2017, but did not have the trophy at that time. Harmanpreet smiled and said, "Now that we have the trophy, we would like to meet him again and again."
