PM Modi Ranchi Visit: PM paid floral tributes to Lord Birsa Munda on his birth anniversary
In anticipation of the state elections in Madhya Pradesh the last week of November, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the state yesterday.
November 15 is marked as Tribal Pride Day
As he arrived in Ranchi following the end of his election campaign, Prime Minister Modi paid his respects to tribal leader Birsa Munda on this day, November 15, the anniversary of his birth. Every year in India, the anniversary of Birsa Munda's birth is also observed as Tribal Pride Day.
PM Modi paid floral tributes to Indian tribal activist Birsa Munda on Wednesday during his visit to the Bhagwan Birsa Munda Memorial Park and Freedom Fighter Museum in Ranchi.
The prime minister was accompanied by Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, and Union Minister of Tribal Affairs Arjun Munda.

"Respectful tribute to Lord Birsa Munda ji on his birth anniversary," the Prime Minister wrote in his post on X in honor of Bhagwan Birsa Munda's birthday. Happy Tribal Pride Day! My warmest regards to my family members across the nation on this momentous occasion.

On November 10, 2021, the Union Cabinet proclaimed November 15 to be "Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas" in honor of Birsa Munda's enormous contributions. The yearly event honors the visionary leader's contribution to India's freedom struggle after that.
PM Modi will inaugurate several projects in Jharkhand
The Prime Minister will introduce the Pradhan Mantri Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG) Mission and the "Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra" during the program.
As per the official announcement, the PM is scheduled to unveil the fifteenth installment of PM-KISAN, inaugurate, dedicate to the nation, and lay the foundation for several development projects in Jharkhand.
