Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the groundwork for several development projects in the state totaling more than Rs 15,700 crore.

Ram temple's consecration ceremony on January 22nd

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, on Saturday, ahead of the Ram temple's consecration ceremony on January 22. PM Modi also launched railroads and an airport, in addition to a plethora of development projects. PM Modi led a roadshow from the airport to the railway station, where he was met by a big crowd along the route.

PM Modi also waved to people from his car and, at one moment, lifted the door to wave back. People showered him with flower petals, waved BJP flags, and chanted slogans in his honor.

11,100 crores allotted for the development of Ayodhya

Of the entire funding, 11,100 crore would be earmarked for the growth of Ayodhya and its neighboring regions. The remaining 4,600 crores will be going toward various projects across Uttar Pradesh.

The prime minister's visit comes only days before the Ram temple's 'pran pratishtha,' or consecration ceremony, which is scheduled for January 22.

In Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi opened the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport in Ayodhya Dham.

The terminal building at Maharishi Valmiki International Airport will be 6,500 square meters in size and will be able to serve about 10 lakh passengers per year.

PM Modi dedicated the renovated Ayodhya Dham Railway Station. He was accompanied by UP Chief Minister Adityanath, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, and others.

Ayodhya Railway Station was built for Rs. 240 crore

Ayodhya Dham Junction Railway Station, Phase I of the renovated station, was completed at a cost of more than 240 crore.

The three-story railway station structure includes lifts, escalators, food plazas, stores for puja supplies, cloakrooms, childcare facilities, and waiting halls.

At a cost of over Rs. 240 crore, the first phase of the renovated Ayodhya Dham Junction Railway Station has been completed. The 3-storey train station building has amenities including waiting areas, cloakrooms, escalators, food plazas, stores for puja supplies, & lifts.

PM Modi inaugurated Amrit Bharat Trains

Additionally, PM Modi signaled the start of two Amrit Bharat trains: the Malda Town-Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminus (Bengaluru) Amrit Bharat Express and the Darbhanga-Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Terminal Amrit Bharat Express.
