PM Modi spoke to Georgia Meloni, emphasised on strengthening bilateral relations
Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni over the phone on Wednesday. The PM thanked Georgia Meloni for the successful India-EU trade agreement. Both leaders reviewed and positively evaluated the development in bilateral strategic partnership in areas such as investment, defence, security, space, science and technology, education, people-to-people relations and counter-terrorism.

We reiterated our joint commitment to further strengthen the India-Italy strategic partnership and showed shared interest in ending the conflict in Ukraine as soon as possible.
