PM Modi, Sri Lankan President jointly inaugurate Maho-Omanthai railway line

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the railway track in Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka on Saturday. During this, he wrote on 'X': Increasing connectivity and increasing friendship! In Anuradhapura, President Anura Kumara Disanayake and I jointly inaugurated the track upgradation of the existing Maho-Omanthai railway line.

Sri Lanka released 14 fishermen as a goodwill gesture

Sri Lanka released 14 Indian fishermen as a special goodwill gesture during Prime Minister Modi's visit. Earlier, the issue of fishermen was discussed between the two leaders, in which India and Sri Lanka had asked to give priority to humanity in the case of fishermen.
