PM Modi watches Thai version of Ramayana, this will be PM's two-day program in Bangkok
The PM Narendra Modi has gone on a two-day tour of Thailand on Thursday. He reached the capital Bangkok and met people of the Indian community. After this, he watched Thai Ramayana. Ramayana is called Ramakien in Thai language. PM Narendra Modi will hold a bilateral meeting with Thailand's PM Pyatongtarn Shinawatra.
During this, both the leaders will talk about business relations. Let us tell you, Pyatongtarn is currently the youngest Prime Minister in the world.
PM's two-day program in Bangkok
PM Narendra Modi will participate in the BIMSTEC conference tomorrow i.e. on Friday. After the conference, PM Modi can also meet the head of the interim government of Bangladesh, Mohammad Yunus. An official of Yunus government has expressed the possibility of a meeting.
If the two leaders meet, then this will be the first meeting of the top leaders of the two countries after the change of power in Bangladesh. On Friday itself, PM Modi will meet King Maha Vajiralongkorn and Queen Suthida of Thailand.
PM Modi has met PM Shinawatra earlier also
Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Thailand PM Shinawatra in Vietnam in October 2024. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the ASEAN summit. Let us tell you, Shinawatra has become the Prime Minister in 2024 itself.
This is the third visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Thailand.

PM Modi had earlier visited Thailand in 2016. The visit was especially to pay tribute to the ninth king of the country, Bhumibol Adulyadej. After this, PM Modi reached Thailand for the ASEAN summit in 2019.

These issues will be discussed
Prime Minister Modi will talk on various issues during his meeting with Shinawatra. There will be detailed discussions between the two leaders on various topics including economy, commerce, politics, defence, communication etc.
