PM Modi will inaugurate Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit in Guwahati
The Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Assam on a two-day visit. PM Modi will inaugurate the Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit in Guwahati, the capital of Assam today i.e. on 25 February. This summit related to investment and infrastructure will run for two days and ambassadors, mission heads of more than 60 countries will participate in it.
This event is linked to the Act East Policy of the Center. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate this summit on Tuesday.

Prime Minister is in Assam on a two-day visit
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has claimed before the Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit that we have investment proposals worth Rs 1 lakh crore. It is worth noting that PM Modi reached Assam on a two-day visit on 24 February.

PM Modi attended the Moir Binandini program on the first day of his Assam visit. Assam CM Himanta welcomed PM Modi at the Guwahati airport.
Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit in Guwahati
After reaching Guwahati airport, PM Modi attended the Jhumoir Binandini 2025 organized at the Sarusajai Stadium. In this event, about 9000 artists from the tea gardening population performed the Jhumur dance.
During this event, PM Modi was also seen trying his hand at a musical instrument.

In this program organized to mark the completion of 200 years of Assam tea industry, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said that there was a time when the development of Assam and the Northeast was neglected in the country.
He also said that the culture here was also ignored but Modi himself has become the brand ambassador of the culture of the Northeast.
