PM Rajasthan Visit: The Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to announce several gifts to the people of Rajasthan today. He is arriving on a day-long visit to Rajasthan.

Prime Minister Modi to flag off Vande Bharat train

Two new Vande Bharat Express trains will run between Bikaner and Jodhpur in Rajasthan and Delhi from September 25th. Modi will virtually flag off these trains from Banswara on this occasion. This new initiative will provide passengers from Rajasthan and Haryana with the benefit of faster and more comfortable travel and significantly reduce travel time.

The first Vande Bharat train is the Bikaner-Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat Express, which will depart from Bikaner at 5:40 am and reach Delhi Cantt at 11:55 am. On its return journey, it will depart from Delhi Cantt at 4:45 pm and reach Bikaner at 11:05 pm. This train's major stops include Ratangarh, Churu, Sadulpur, Loharu, Mahendragarh, Rewari, and Gurgaon. The total travel time will be approximately 6 hours and 20 minutes.

First Vande Bharat train is the Bikaner-Delhi

The second Vande Bharat Jodhpur-Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat Express will depart from Jodhpur at 5:25 am and arrive at Delhi Cantt at 1:30 pm. On its return journey, it will depart from Delhi at 3:10 pm and arrive at Jodhpur at 11:20 pm. Its major stops will be Merta Road, Degana, Makrana, Phulera, Jaipur, Alwar, Rewari, and Gurgaon. The total travel time will be approximately 8 hours and 10 minutes.

The new Vande Bharat trains will provide fast and safe connectivity between Rajasthan and Delhi. This will not only reduce travel time but also boost trade and tourism. The North Western Railway Zone will operate and maintain these trains.

PM Modi to inaugurate several projects

On this occasion, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for development projects worth ₹1.08 lakh crore at an event in Banswara. These include the Mahi Banswara Nuclear Power Project and the Bikaner Renewable Energy Project. Additionally, 15.5 GW of power transmission line projects will be inaugurated.
