Six individuals were apprehended by Manipur Police for their alleged involvement in setting fire to abandoned structures in Langol, Imphal West.
The incidents of arson are part of a series of clashes between Kukis and dominant Meiteis since May 3, resulting in the burning of thousands of houses across the state.
The violence has caused more than 150 casualties and displaced over 50,000 people, with some seeking refuge in Myanmar.
