Famous storyteller Indresh Upadhyay of Vrindavan (Mathura) is set to tie the knot. His wedding will take place on December 5th in Jaipur with Shipra Sharma, a resident of Yamunanagar, Haryana. The three-day grand wedding celebrations began on Wednesday when Indresh Upadhyay and his family arrived in Jaipur from Vrindavan.

Guests from India and abroad are expected to attend the events held at Jaipur's prestigious Taj Amer Hotel. The Bhaat ceremony was held on Wednesday night in the hotel's "Kundan Van," attended by saints from Vrindavan Dham, storyteller families, and several special guests. Jaya Kishori, a popular storyteller, also attended the Mayra and Bhaat ceremonies and participated in the rituals.

The wedding is scheduled for Thursday, with mehendi and haldi ceremonies, followed by a colorful evening musical program. Bollywood singer B Praak has already arrived in Jaipur and shared an Instagram story expressing his excitement, calling the wedding "Jai-Jai's Vedic wedding."

Unique Invitation and VIP Guest List

The wedding invitations for Indresh Upadhyay and Shipra Sharma include special offerings from the major temples of Vrindavan Dham, including sugar candy and cardamom from Radharamanji, Tulsi, and laddus from other major temples.

This unique tradition makes the invitations exceptionally special. Security arrangements for the wedding have also been strictly enforced. The event company has informed Jaipur's Amer police station about the arrival of 500 VIP guests, following which a heavy security force has been deployed on the hotel premises to ensure the guests' safety.

Wedding will take place on December 5th in Jaipur

Initially, 100 bouncers have been deployed for the Mehndi and Haldi ceremonies, while approximately 250 bouncers will be deployed for security on the wedding day. A separate team of the narrator's disciples will also assist in security arrangements.

The arrival of guests will intensify from Friday morning. Many prominent leaders, saints, and Bollywood celebrities are expected to attend the event, including Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of Bageshwar Dham, Aniruddhacharya, Devkinandan Thakur, Mahant Anjan Goswami of the Govinddevji Temple, Bade Bhaiyaji of the Shri Saras Nikunj family, former Union Minister Smriti Irani, and actor Sanjay Dutt.

Appeal for Privacy

To avoid unnecessary crowding at the event, video recording and photo-taking have been banned within the hotel premises. Indresh Upadhyay himself has appealed to all guests not to share wedding photos and videos on social media, to prevent a sudden influx of devotees and prevent crowd management.
