Premium diesel rates in Delhi have seen an increase of about ₹1.50 per liter. Concurrently, the prices of premium petrol in Delhi have also risen. The prices for Indian Oil's XP100 petrol (a premium variant) and Xtra Green (premium diesel) have been hiked for the Delhi market.

The price of XP100 has been raised from ₹149 per liter to ₹160 per liter. Indian Oil's XP100 is India's first 100-octane premium petrol, designed specifically for high-end luxury cars and superbikes. Similarly, Xtra Green (premium diesel) will now be sold at ₹92.99, up from its previous price of ₹91.49.

LPG Prices Also Updated

LPG gas cylinder prices across the country were also updated today. The government has not implemented any hike in the prices of domestic gas cylinders. However, in contrast, the prices for the 5-kg 'Chhotu' cylinders and the 19-kg commercial cylinders have increased.

The price of the 5-kg LPG cylinder has risen by ₹51, while the price of the commercial cylinder in Delhi has gone up by approximately ₹196.

Meanwhile, according to data from IOCL, there has been no increase in the price of domestic gas cylinders in any of the country's major metropolitan cities. This provides significant relief to the general public from both the government and the oil companies. On March 7, the price of domestic gas cylinders was hiked by ₹60 per cylinder. Following that increase, the prices stood at ₹913 in Delhi, ₹939 in Kolkata, ₹912.50 in Mumbai, and ₹928.50 in Chennai—rates that will remain in effect throughout the month of April.
