70th National Film Awards: Most awaited award ceremony is going to be held in the capital of India today. This year's National Film Award winners were announced on 16 August. In which Nithya Menon, Manasi Parekh and Rishab Shetty have received top honors. In this ceremony, the best artists of Indian cinema of last year will be honored.

National Film Awards in Delhi

All cinema lovers have their eyes set on the National Film Awards to be held at Delhi. This ceremony will be held at Vigyan Bhavan in the national capital. In the 70th award ceremony, the best artists of Indian cinema of last year will be honored. Who are the National Film Award winners?

The Best Actress award went to Nithya Menon for the Tamil film Thiruchitramblam and Parekh for Kutch Express. Apart from this, Sooraj Barjatiya won the Best Director award for Unchai and Neena Gupta won the Best Supporting Actress award.

Jani Master's award cancelled

Along with this, let us tell you that choreographer Jani Master, who was given the honor for Thiruchitramblam, has been suspended due to the ongoing rape charges against him.

List of National Film Awards

Mithun Chakraborty, along with gaining popularity in masala films, also proved his acting ability in many films. He has received three National Film Awards for acting. Mithun received the National Award for Best Actor in 1976 for his first film Mrigayaa. Famous director Mrinal Sen gave Mithun Chakraborty a chance in films for the first time.
