Prime Minister Narendra Modi called the recent road accident in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, "extremely painful." The accident occurred when a truck lost control and crashed into a tractor on GT Road at the Mirzamurad Kachhwa border.

On October 3, the accident resulted in the deaths of ten laborers and left three others injured. According to reports, the tractor was on its way to Banaras from Bhadohi district and was carrying 13 people at the time of the crash.
