Punjab: Explosion in firecracker factory in Muktsar Sahib, 4 dead, 25 injured
Major accident has occurred due to an explosion in a firecracker factory in Pid Singh Wala of Lambi in Muktsar Sahib area of Punjab. According to the information, four people have died in the accident and about 25 people are reported to be injured. After receiving the news of the explosion, the police administration reached the spot.
The injured have been admitted to AIIMS Hospital in Bathinda for treatment.
The incident is near a village in Sri Muktsar Sahib district of Punjab. The explosion took place in a firecracker manufacturing and packaging unit.

What did the police say?
According to the agency, Lambi Deputy Superintendent of Police Jaspal Singh said on the phone that the incident took place in a two-storey factory unit located on Singhawali-Kotli Road in Sri Muktsar Sahib. The DSP said that the reasons behind the blast are being investigated
