Rekha Gupta will take oath as CM of Delhi, preparations complete at Ramlila Maidan

Delhi CM Rekha Gupta Oath Ceremony: After a long wait of 27 years, BJP government is going to be formed in Delhi once again today. Rekha Gupta, who became MLA for the first time, has been elected CM. Delhi will get a new CM 12 days after the results of the assembly elections. Preparations for the oath ceremony at Ramlila Maidan have been completed. Apart from PM Narendra Modi, all the major Union Ministers and all the senior leaders and officials of the party will also attend the ceremony.

 In view of the swearing-in ceremony, a traffic advisory has been issued in Delhi.

Chief Ministers of many states including PM Modi will attend this ceremony.

Tight security arrangements at Ramlila Maidan

NSG (National Security Guard) commandos, Delhi Police personnel and RAF (Rapid Action Force) personnel are deployed for security at Ramlila Maidan. The swearing-in ceremony of the new CM of Delhi and the Council of Ministers is to be held here from 11 am today.

All the promises made to the public will be fulfilled: Rekha Gupta

Delhi's nominated Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said, "I have been entrusted with a big responsibility. I thank PM Modi and the top leadership for trusting a daughter like me who comes from a simple family. I will fulfill the responsibility with all my ability, strength and honesty...My first priority is to fulfill all the promises made by our party and the second priority is that all our 48 MLAs will work as Team Modi.

I never thought that I would become the Chief Minister of Delhi... All the promises we have made to the public will be fulfilled.

Traffic advisory issued, don't let rain cause any disturbance! If you are going to the swearing-in ceremony, then first know everything

Preparations for the swearing-in ceremony of the new Chief Minister at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan have been completed. Many VIPs including PM Modi will attend. The weather is expected to be clear in the afternoon.

Strict arrangements have been made for traffic diversion and security. The public has been invited to attend the ceremony through hoardings.

On being elected CM, Rekha Gupta said, "I express my heartfelt gratitude to all the top leadership for trusting me and entrusting me with the responsibility of the post of Chief Minister. This trust and support of yours has given me new energy and inspiration.
