He expressed his view points on the being a proud Hindu, India's successful Moon Mission and that UK will not tolerate Pro Khalistan Movement. He emphasized the vital role played by India's youth in shaping the nation's future and radiated confidence in India's prominence in international affairs in the coming years and decades. During his visit, the UK PM also discussed his personal connection to Hinduism, revealing his pride in being a Hindu and expressing his desire to visit a Mandir during his stay in India. He noted the importance of faith in his life, describing it as a source of resilience and strength, particularly in demanding roles like his.
Addressing concerns related to extremism, Sunak unequivocally denounced any form of violence or extremism, including 'PKE' (Pro-Khalistan Extremism), in the UK. He assured that the UK government is working closely with the Indian government to combat such extremist elements. Sunak highlighted recent discussions and intelligence sharing between the two nations to root out violent extremism and reiterated his strong stance against it, emphasizing that it will not be tolerated in the UK.
