RSS big trap in Bengal! Will Mamata's fort be conquered like Delhi & Maharashtra?
RSS in West Bengal: The results of RSS's hard work in West Bengal are starting to show. In the last 2 years, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has achieved tremendous growth in branches in its provinces. Especially in Banga province, the hard work of the volunteers is being appreciated. According to an information, 500 new branches have been created here in the last 2 years (2023-2025).
Which is being seen as a big increase inside the Sangh. RSS has three major provinces in Bengal - North Banga Province, Central Banga Province and South Banga Province.
North Bengal districts are included in North Bengal province, Central Bengal includes East and West Burdwan, Birbhum, Bankura, Murshidabad and Purulia, while South Bengal districts are included in South Bengal province.
How many branches increased in which province?
Although the number of branches has increased in all the provinces, but the increase in Central Bengal is noteworthy. In 2023, the total number of branches, meetings and mandals in North Bengal was 1034, which increased to 1041 in 2024 and 1153 in 2025.
In Central Bengal, this number was 1320 in 2023, which increased to 1823 in 2025. Similarly, South Bengal had 1206 branches in 2023, which increased to 1564 in 2025.

Seeing the rapid increase in branches in Madhya Banga, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat also organized an open meeting in Burdwan during his 11-day Bengal visit in February.
Good news for BJP
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) sources believe that the increase in the number of branches can have a political impact. Former area campaign chief Jishnu Basu said that the branches of Madhya Banga have worked hard. Earlier this area was a part of South Banga province, however now its activities have intensified as a separate province.
He said that meetings and rallies of small groups are being organized continuously.
Will affect the election results
The districts of Madhya Banga province like East and West Burdwan, Birbhum, Bankura and Purulia are the areas where BJP performed well in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, but did not get as much success in 2024. Now it has to be seen how much the increasing number of RSS branches affects the future election results.
People returning to the roots of Hindutva
RSS Madhya Banga Province's Prachar Pramukh Sushwan Mukherjee says that the current environment is inspiring people to return to the roots of Hindutva. This is why the number of volunteers coming to the branches is increasing.
Summary
Apart from this, RSS has strongly condemned the attacks on minorities in Bangladesh and a plan is also being worked on to spread awareness in India on this issue. The effect of this decision of RSS can be seen in Bengal.
