Jalgaon Train Accident: A rumour took the lives of 13 people in Jalgaon, Maharashtra (Jalgaon Train Accident). In Jalgaon district of North Maharashtra on Wednesday evening, the rumour of fire in Pushpak Express spread in such a way that the passengers thought it better to save their lives by jumping off the train. Life was lost in the process of saving lives.

The passengers pulled the chain of the train and started running out. Some people jumped off the train. At the same time, some passengers started running here and there on the tracks. Meanwhile, the high-speed Karnataka Express coming on the other track crushed them badly. 13 people died in this accident.

How rumor's spread like fire was seen in Jalgaon

This accident was so horrific that just imagining it makes the soul tremble. Body parts were lying cut off everywhere on the tracks. Whoever saw this scene was terrified. There were bodies and chaos everywhere. Now compensation has been announced for the victims.

Rumor of fire in train, passengers jumped

Soon after this accident, local people reached the spot to help the injured. A passenger who saw this accident closely told that suddenly the brakes were applied in the moving train. Some passengers said that a coach has caught fire. After which there was an atmosphere of chaos there.

People started jumping from the window and running out of the gate. Meanwhile another train came and ran over people. People could not understand anything.

Pushpak Express accident: What happened when

Pushpak Express was going from Lucknow to Mumbai. It was at full speed. It was 4:42 pm on Wednesday, at that time the train had reached near Pachora railway station of Jalgaon, about 425 km from Mumbai. At the same time, a rumor spread that smoke was coming out of bogie number-4 of the train, meaning a fire had broken out. On hearing this, there was chaos. Passengers started running after getting down from the train and in an attempt to save their lives, they got hit by the high speed Karnataka Express coming from the opposite direction. In a short time, bodies were seen on the tracks.

Compensation announced

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has announced a compensation of Rs 5 lakh each for the families of those killed in the Pushpak Express train accident. The railways have announced financial assistance of Rs 1.5 lakh for the families of the deceased, Rs 50,000 each for the seriously injured and Rs 5,000 for the injured.
