Under the guidance of the Police Commissioner of Gautam Buddh Nagar, Laxmi Singh, and Additional Police Commissioner Ajay Kumar, and the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Women and Child Safety) Anukriti Sharma, the "Run for Empowerment" event—held as part of the second phase of 'Mission Shakti 5.0'—was successfully organized at the Noida Stadium complex.

The primary objective of this event was to foster self-confidence, health awareness, and a sense of empowerment among women and girls, as well as to disseminate a positive message regarding women's safety and dignity within society.



The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of individuals from the Police Department and various educational institutions. The event was graced by the presence of India's renowned Paralympian and Padma Shri awardee,Deepa Malik, who attended as the Chief Guest.



While encouraging the participants, she elaborated extensively on the spirit and significance of the "Run for Empowerment." She shared personal anecdotes regarding her life struggles, her unwavering perseverance in the face of adversity, and her experiences of representing India on the international stage despite her physical disability..



Deepa Malik stated, "Challenges in life do not come to stop us, but rather to make us stronger. If one's resolve is firm, no obstacle can stand in the way of success." She inspired the students present to strive for self-reliance, maintain mental resilience, and remain steadfast in their pursuit of their goals. She placed particular emphasis on the need to cultivate a sense of sensitivity and respect within society towards persons with disabilities. Approximately 200 female students from various schools and around 150 female police personnel from the Gautam Buddh Nagar Commissionerate participated enthusiastically in the event.



The participants took part with great zeal in the organized run, creating an atmosphere of high energy and enthusiasm throughout the entire venue. Students who delivered outstanding performances in the running competition were honored with cash prizes, trophies, and certificates of appreciation for securing the first, second, and third positions.




Additionally, various motivational prizes were awarded to other participating students, thereby instilling in them a renewed sense of enthusiasm and self-confidence.



Deputy Commissioner of Police (Women and Child Safety) Anukriti Sharma, shed light in detail on the objectives of 'Mission Shakti 5.0,' stating that this campaign is a significant initiative aimed at ensuring the safety, dignity, and self-reliance of women and girls.


She affirmed that the police administration remains steadfastly committed to the safety and assistance of women, assuring that prompt aid will be provided in any emergency situation.



Additional Commissioner of Police (Headquarters) Ajay Kumar, also lauded the event, remarking that such initiatives convey a positive message to society and further strengthen the bond of trust between the police and the public. The program concluded in an atmosphere of enthusiasm, with best wishes extended to all participants for continued excellence in their future endeavors.
