SC strict comment, Such actions can be seen as running a bulldozer on the law of the country
Bulldozer justice: The Allahabad High Court has expressed strong displeasure over the demolition of houses with bulldozers in Azamgarh district in Uttar Pradesh. This stand of High Court has come after the Supreme Court's stand on bulldozers. The court has asked the UP government what was the situation due to which the petitioner's house was demolished without following the legal process.
What circumstances petitioner's house demolished
Allahabad High Court has reprimanded the UP government in a case. Expressing displeasure, the court has also sought a reply from the UP government in the matter.
Know the matter
The Additional Collector of Azamgarh had issued an order to demolish Sunil Kumar's house in the land dispute. It is alleged that a bulldozer was run on Sunil Kumar's house without giving him any opportunity to be heard. The case was heard in the single bench of Justice Prakash Padia. Now the High Court will hear this case on 18 September
Supreme Court raised questions on bulldozer action
While Supreme Court had recently heard the case on 'Bulldozer Justice'. On which the apex court had raised many questions while making a strict comment. Justice Sudhanshu Dhulia and Justice SVN Bhatti has said that whether a person is guilty or not, that is, it is the job of the court to decide, not the government. In this country governed by law, the punishment for the mistake of a person cannot be given to his family by taking such action or demolishing his house.

Crime is not a ground for demolishing properties
The court said that in a country where the law is supreme, such threats of demolition are unimaginable. The Supreme Court said that it cannot remain oblivious to such actions which can be seen as running a bulldozer on the laws of the country. The Supreme Court said, 'The alleged crime must be proved through due legal process in the court. In a country where the law is supreme, the court cannot ignore such unimaginable threats of demolition. Such actions can be seen as running a bulldozer on the law of the country.
