Selling SIM Cards; Vijay Verma, who has worked on projects like "Gully Boy," "Darlings," and "Daar," recently appeared on Rhea Chakraborty's talk show. Vijay spoke openly about depression, anxiety, struggles, personal life, and relationships. Vijay revealed that he took numerous courses to earn money. He also tried various avenues to enter acting, even selling SIM cards, which was a very taxing job. While working all these jobs, Vijay realized that acting was his true passion.

Vijay told Rhea Chakraborty, "I did about five different courses. I also did courses in software engineering and event management. I did a B.Com. After that, I tried many things, but nothing clicked. I trained in a call center for three months, then left. I worked for a mobile company, selling SIM cards."
Vijay spoke openly about his personal life
To do all this, I would ride my bike about 30-40 kilometers, no matter the weather. I come from a Marwari family, where I was treated with care like a daughter. When I was doing all this, it was very tough for me. I had a target of four sales, but I could only make three. My boss would ask me why I didn't make the fourth sale. I felt very bad. One day, I told him that one day I would put my photo in your showroom. I would become the ambassador of this brand."
Took admission in acting.
Vijay enrolled in the Film and Television Institute of India. He didn't get selected the first time. Vijay studied theater in Hyderabad for a year. "And when I first stepped on stage for the first show, the applause started. People started laughing. I thought, 'This is cool.' I liked it. I thought, 'This is what I want to do.' I continued doing theater. I would hide it from my family. I would go to the theater saying, 'I'm going to college.'"
