Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati said that it is necessary to have devotion towards Sanatan. In Maha Kumbh, the beauty of the mind should have been seen, not the beauty of the face. Just as the police uniform is given only to those recruited in the police, similarly only sanyasis are allowed to wear saffron clothes.
