Nationalist Congress Party (SP) leader Sharad Pawar arrived at Pune's Ruby Hospital today for a routine check-up. He had suffered dehydration due to vomiting. Doctors advised him to stay at Ruby Hospital in Pune for the next two days. He will remain admitted at the Hall Clinic for the time being. He also underwent a blood test and a CT scan. According to doctors, all reports came back normal. Sharad Pawar's daughter, Supriya Sule, is also present at the hospital.

The 85-year-old leader was brought to the same hospital last week complaining of difficulty breathing and a persistent cough. Further tests revealed a chest infection, which led to his observation for a few days. Senior leader Sharad Pawar was brought back home last Saturday. Doctors advised him to rest for three to four days.

Fluid Dehydration

Dr. Purvez Grant, Chief Cardiologist, said that Sharad Pawar was admitted to Ruby Hall Clinic today due to mild dehydration. He requires fluids. His condition is stable. He will remain at Ruby Hall Clinic for two days and will then be discharged home.
