Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan met
the tribal labourer who had been urinated on by a man on Thursday. Shivraj
Singh Chouhan demonstrated respect by cleansing Dasmesh Rawat’s feet.

The Chief Minister expressed regret to Dashmesh Rawat over
what had happened. Images of Shivraj Singh Chouhan washing the feet of a
labourer were posted on his Twitter account.

Pravesh Shukla, the guy who was caught on camera in Sidhi
district urinating on a worker, was arrested between Tuesday night and
Wednesday morning. A video of the act went viral and made a lot of people
angry.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan saw the viral video and said that the
person who made it wouldn’t be let off easy and would get “strict punishment.”

After what happened, the government of Madhya Pradesh tore
down parts of a building owned by the accused on Wednesday.

Before meeting the worker, the Chief Minister said on
Wednesday that when he saw the video, it broke his heart and made him feel a
lot of pain. He said that the victim and his family would meet him in Bhopal.

Pravesh Shukla was charged with violating Indian Penal Code
(IPC) Sections 294 (Obscene acts) and 504 (Intentional insult to cause
a breach of the peace) and the SC/ST Act. Charges under the National Security Act (NSA) have also been
brought against the suspects.
