'Spend a day as a scientist', PM urges youth to increase curiosity towards science

PM Modi Mantra to Youth:  The Prime Minister Modi, in the 'Mann Ki Baat' program, while mentioning the success of ISRO's 100th launch mission, called upon the youth to spend a day as a scientist. So that their curiosity towards science can increase.Talking about the success of ISRO's 100th launch mission, PM said that this is not just a number, but it also shows our (India's) resolve to touch new heights in space science every day.

Spend One Day as a Scientist - PM

PM Modi said, 'In the coming few days, we are going to celebrate National Science Day. It matters a lot that our children and youth have interest and passion in science. I have an idea about this which you can call One Day as a Scientist. That is, you spend one day as a scientist. You can choose any day according to your convenience and wish.

On that day, you must visit places like a research lab, planetarium or space center. This will further increase your curiosity about science.'

PM Modi talked about AI

Sharing his views in the 119th episode of Akashvani's monthly radio program 'Mann Ki Baat', he further said that like space and science, there is another field in which India is rapidly making its strong identity. This field is AI i.e. Artificial Intelligence.

Referring to his Paris visit, PM Modi said that recently I went to Paris to participate in a big conference of AI. The world praised our progress in this sector. We are also getting to see examples of how people of our country are using AI today.

PM will hand over his social media account to women

PM Modi also announced through the program that on the occasion of International Women's Day, he will hand over his social media account to such inspiring women who have achieved success in different fields. He said that 'such women who have made a different identity for themselves in different fields will share their work and experience with the countrymen on March 8.

Even though this platform will be theirs, there it will be about their experiences, their challenges and their achievements. To take advantage of this opportunity, a special platform created on the 'NaMo App' can be used.'
